Log into Naviance to find the Universal Scholarship application and scholarship opportunities. There are 27 scholarships available to MHS students through the Universal Scholarship this year. SAT & ACT Prep Class Schedule for spring
The College Career Center is partnering with Tried & True Tutoring to offer SAT & ACT prep classes on campus this year. Each class costs $329. You can register at www.triedandtruetutoring.com. Be sure to use the promo code MHSCLASS to receive the $329 price.
Seniors - Still need FAFSA or Dream Act Application Assistance?
Every Wednesday from 4-5pm, Moorpark College's Financial Aid Office, located in Fountain Hall, offers FAFSA and Dream Act application assistance. If you need some help filling out those applications, be sure to stop in. You must bring with you:
  • Student/parent tax information for 2015
  • Social Security numbers for students/parents
  • Other income information for students/parents

Raise.Me - A way to earn $ for college starting in 9th grade!
Raise.Me allows high school students to earn scholarships from colleges for their achievements in and out of the classroom. Starting in 9th grade, students can be eligible to start earning scholarships for their achievements like good grades, perfect attendance, leadership roles, participation in sports & clubs, community service, tests scores and more. Tutor List Available & Free Tutoring from Moorpark City Library
Do you need help with your classwork? The College & Career Center is putting together the paid tutor list for the 2016/17 school year. If you would like a copy, please e-mail me at mknight@mrpk.org and I would be happy to forward it to you. Thank you. The Moorpark City Library offers FREE tutoring Mondays & Thursdays from 4-6pm.
SAT code for CSU Mentor is 3594
This is the code (3594) for ALL CSU Schools. If you put this code down as one of your college choices then your SAT scores will go out to all California State Universities. It will show up as CSU Mentor.
Common Black College Application
You can submit the CBCA and apply to numerous colleges at the same time and it is only $35.00 to apply to 1 or all 37 colleges on the list. You can receive scholarship offers from several different colleges. For more information you can go to: www.eduinconline.com.

Southwest Oregon Community College
Southwestern Community College does not charge out of state tuition. They also offer free tuition to those high school students graduating with a 3.75 or higher GPA. This campus has on-campus housing and has over 50 different areas of study from pre-engineering and pre-med to manufacturing technology and nursing.
